An Olympics water sports venue is set to reopen next week.

The Lee Valley White Water Centre, near Waltham Abbey, will be officially relaunched on February 27.

The centre underwent a £6.3 million refurbishment and will now be used as a permanent base for Great Britain's competing canoeists.

World Champions David Florence and Richard Hounslow will be at the event alongside London 2012 Paralympics gold medallists Etienne Stott and Tim Baillie.

The centre will host the International Canoe Federation Canoe Slalom World Cup on June 6.
