Police are appealing for information after four men were assaulted.

Police were called to an alleyway next to SSS Chicken Base, in Goodmayes Lane, Ilford, last night at around 11.20pm.

Four men, all in their 20s, asked a group of fourother men to move their car which was blocking their vehicle.

When the men refused they were attacked by the four, who punched them in the face and beat them with metal bars and wooden sticks.

One of the men is alleged to have hit the victims’ vehicle with a weapon, causing the back window to smash.

The men then got back into their car, which was being driven by a woman, and drove down Goodmayes Lane towards Dagenham.

The suspects, three white men and one black all between 18 and 19 years-old, were said to be driving a Vauxhall Zafira.

The black man is said to have had braided hair and was wearing a red and black chequered hoody, while the woman driver was said to be blonde.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
