A man accused of growing a large amount of Cannabis is due to appear in court today.

Ben Jackson, of Bluehouse Road in Chingford, is charged with producing a controlled Class B drug and failing to report back to police.

On May 13 last year, Jackson was arrested in Clacton, Essex, after police seized 53 Cannabis plants from a residential address.   

Following his arrest, the 27 year-old was released on police bail to report back to Clacton Police station on August 12, but is said to have failed to appear.  

He is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates Court today.
