A performer described as the only Muslim drag queen will describe her experiences at an event on Friday.

Asifa Lahore, a performer, hostess and DJ, will appear at Redbridge Central Library in Clement’s Road, Ilford, as part of LGBT month.

Asifa won the bronze medal at Drag Idol UK final last year.

The event, beginning at 8.30pm, is only open to adults costs £2.50.
