Bus related crime is said to be down by a quarter in Redbridge, according to police

Luke Entwistle, of Redbridge Safer Transport Team, believes the figures are due to his team clamping down on anti-social behaviour.

He said: “Travelling on public transport in Redbridge has never been safer and these are some fantastic results.

“We have a number of operations running through the year to make the area safer and to address the issues which members of the public were concerned about.

“Generally this includes anti-social behaviour in Redbridge and the surrounding areas.”
