Three men were arrested yesterday after an attempted school burglary.
Police were called to Rushcroft Foundation School, in Rushcroft Road, South Chingford, in the early hours of Wednesday morning following reports of an alarm sounding.
Officers found two broken windows but nothing had been stolen, the school confirmed.
After watching CCTV footage officers tracked down three suspects one hour later in Gordon Avenue, Highams Park.
Two 18-year-olds and a 29-year-old were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They have been bailed until April pending further enquiries.
