Designer bargains were snapped up by shoppers who had queued out of the door at today’s Posh Jumble event.

More thank 500 people perused the 22 stalls selling ‘upmarket’ clothes and bric-a-brac at Wanstead United Reformed Church in Nightingale Lane, Wanstead.

Entry to the inaugural Posh Jumble cost £1 with most items priced under £20 including items from designers including Gucci and Valentino.

This was well advertised around Walthamstow and on this website and I am pleased to say I managed to grab a fantastic sweater owned 'allegedly' by Marty Fieldman. It is a bit small but obviously from the correct period as I have since checked out the label. He was a fantastic actor I must say.

You were had. There is no famous actor called Marty Fieldman. There was however a famous comic actor called Marty Feldman.

I didn't see it advertised. I don't even get the RSS feeds anymore - I expect they don't like my comments.
