Councillors will decide tomorrow whether the old Red Cross Hall land and garages in Waltham Abbey can be turned into an affordable housing development.
The Roundhills site will be discussed by the planning committee atEpping Forest District Council, which owns the land.
The council hopes to build four three-bedroom homes and two one-bedroom properties with gardens and parking.
Seven garages will be demolished to complete the work if it is accepted.
Waltham Abbey Town Council and some residents have objected to the proposal over parking and landscaping concerns.
A decision will be made tomorrow evening.
