Police are keen to identify a man caught on CCTV after several lockers were broken into at a leisure centre.

The man fled when he was discovered in the female changing rooms of Loughton Leisure Centre in Trapps Hill on February 9 at around 3.30pm.

A total of three lockers were later found to have been broken into, resulting in £300 worth of damage and the theft of various items.

Car keys and an iPhone were taken from one person’s locker while another had £15 stolen from her purse.

A man and a woman suspected of the offences were chased by staff along Trapps Hill to Borders Lane, but were then lost.

Anyone with information can call police or Crimestoppers anonymously.
