Forest Philharmonic Orchestra is set to return to Walthamstow Assembly Hall with its star violinist Fenella Humphreys.
Ms Humphreys will join the orchestra to perform Bruch’s Violin Concerto and conductor Mark Shanahan will lead a performance of Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Brahms Symphony No.1. on March 2.
A free workshop for all musicians is being held at The Mill in Coppermill Lane, Walthamstow from 6-8pm before the event.
Flutist Caroline Welsh of the Forest Philharmonic Explorers will teach participants about the music in Sunday's concert and help them to create a new piece during a two-day session starting on Friday at St John's Church in Brookscroft Road, Walthamstow.
All musicians must have reached grade 2 or above,
The penultimate event on Sunday starts at 6pm and adult ticket prices cost between £10 and £15.
