Arrests during 24-hour operation in Waltham Forest

Police arrested 38 people in Waltham Forest during a 24-hour operation.

The arrests included seven on suspicion of common assault, four for alleged GBH and one for an unspecified sexual offence.

Police have not revealed who has been charged with any offence as a result of the London-wide operation last Wednesday.

I find it worrying that the police will refuse to say who they have arrested and what for. The public have a right to know what is done in their name.

Well done the Met Police, they have a reason to make these arrests which they are possibly not prepared to disclose at the moment,Iam sure theses reasons will be made public, the important thing is that this shows an active approach to fighting crime
