A student has won through to the final of a modelling competition.
Rochelle Jones, 23, of Harewood Drive in Clayhall, will compete in the Top Model UK 2014 final against 25 other entrants in the Natural Beauty category.
More than 4,000 people applied to the competition, with only 160 making it through the final across six categories.
Miss Jones, who is currently studying sport science at the University of East London, had never modelled before applying to the competition in October.
She said: “I was just browsing the internet when I saw the competition online and thought, ‘what have I got to lose?’
“I just wanted to do something different.”
The finals will take place on April 4 and 5 at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel, central London.
All proceeds from voting go towards charity Children with Cancer UK.
