The Redbridge Schools Choral Festival from a previous year
A school will be taking part in a Royal Albert Hall choir festival next month.
Churchfields Junior School in Woodford Green will join more than 1,800 schoolchildren from across the borough at the bi-annual concert, the Redbridge Schools’ Choral Festival on March 18 at 7pm.
Rehearsals of performances took place today, with pieces including Yamomamo, Can You Hear Me, and Carmina Burina, accompanied by Redbridge Music School symphony orchestra.
The school is sending 46 pupils to the event directed by Eric Forder.
