Tributes have been left at the scene of a crash which killed a 20-year-old woman.

Yesterday the Chigwell woman died in the Royal London Hospital following an accident in Epping Road at around 6am.

One note from the victim’s aunt reads: “In loving memory of Mandy, the greatest niece in the world. I will always love and miss you.

“You will always be in my heart.”

Police are yet to formally identify the victim.

A man from Harlow was taken to hospital with injuries to his leg. Another woman suffered minor injuries.

Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the incident between a Fiat 500 and red Hyundai.

Essex Coroner’s Court is expected to open an inquest today.
