An Orient fan has cleaned every seat in the east stand of the Brisbane Road stadium after vowing to do so if goalkeeper Eldin Jakupovic was brought back in on loan.
Not expecting the Hull City stopper to return following a successful loan spell at the high-flying O’s, Craig Delew sent a challenge to the club’s chief executive, Matthew Porter.
The 19-year-old tweeted: "If you can somehow bring back Jakupovic I will personally clean the dust off every seat in the East Stand. #lofc"
Eldin Jakupovic, who was on loan at Orient until the end of January, was re-signed by the club last month.
Mr Delew said: "I never expected it to happen, especially after recent games I didn't think the club would get anyone else in."
In a light-hearted response, Mr Porter said: "Like all good clubs we decide our transfer policy on what our fans tweet us. Craig wanted Eldin, we got Eldin and fair play to him for keeping up his end of the bargain."
Since completing the manual labour task, Mr Delew got to meet his favourite keeper and was handed an old pair of the keeper's gloves.
