Economics students have impressed with their ideas on how to control inflation.

The four pupils from Ilford County High School in Fremantle Road, Barkingside, will appear in the national final of the Bank of England’s Target Two Point Zero competition after winning the London regional heat.

Sunny Dasgupta, Haseem Shah, Shane Vamadevan and Sandeep Vijayakumar impressed judges with their presentation to beat six other schools to the chance to win £10,000 for equipment later this month.

What is the issue if they are all Asian? The Bank of England clearly didn't have any problems with it, good on them for getting to the nationals!
