More than 3,000 trees were planted in a recreation ground on Saurday.

Around 150 people, including local groups and volunteers, assisted with the planting in Broadmead Recreation Ground, in Navestock Crescent, Woodford Green.

Charity Trees for Cities held the community tree planting event as they attempt to plant a total of 7,500 trees in the borough.
