A woman has been jailed for setting fire to a hospital bed.
Shaniece Rianne Allen, 21, of Fairlop Road in Leytonstone, was found guilty of arson in Rosebank Ward, a psychiatric facility at Mile End Hospital, on December 28.
She was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison on Friday at Thames Magistrates’ Court.
Magistrates took her guilty plea into account and no compensation or costs were ordered.
Two counts of assault by beating were dismissed.
