The Hate Crime Hotline has a new evening phone number.

For the past five years Redbridge Equalities & Community Council, based at Gants Hill United Reformed Church, in Woodford Avenue, has run a hate crime evening hotline, which can be called at any time between 6pm until midnight, seven days a week.

314 hate crimes, including racist, islamophobic and anti-semitic bullying and assault, were recorded last year in Redbridge.

The new number is 07847 829991, while the daytime contact number is still 020 8551 8178.
