A mysterious murder case is being brought to life on the stage.

Theydon Bois Drama Society has chosen Brian Clemens' Murder Weapon for its latest stage production.

Actors will tell the tale of chief constable Bligh and her friend Diane Tulliver, who finds her husband murdered in her home.

However, what seems to be a straightforward case is unravelled through flashbacks and re-enactments of the events leading up to the death.

The tense thriller will be shown at Theydon Bois Village Hall in Coppice Row between March 20 and 22.
