A 17-year-old boy has admitted threatening to kill people in a Buckhurst Hill restaurant.
The teenager was arrested at Buckhurst Hill Tube station on Saturday evening at around 11pm after the incident in Coriander Indian.
Witness Nicky Hunt, owner of Queens Road’s Catch fish restaurant, described how he had to punch the boy to protect staff and diners.
On Monday the teenager, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with two counts of threats to kill, assault, affray and two counts of carrying an offensive weapon.
He will appear at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court for sentencing on March 24.
