Alice in Wonderlan, Tigger and the Big Bad Wolf all attended a school for World Book Day.

Pupils and teachers at Shelley Primary School in Milton Crescent, Ongar, came dressed as their favourite book characters.

Headteacher Vanessa Thomas, who dressed as the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland, said: “It’s been great, one girl even said it was the best day of her life!”
