A man who admitted laundering at least £1.7million is due to be sentenced today.
Asim Altaf Rathore, 43, of Wood Street in Walthamstow, collected cash from criminal groups in England and Scotland and accessed banking systems.
The money would be broken down into amounts as little as £1,000 and distributed into different bank accounts.
Rathore was caught when an accomplice was arrested after taking possession of a holdall containing £123,000.
He is due at Manchester Crown Court today.
