An overturned car has been removed and the road reopened after a crash this morning.

A man has been taken to hospital after a crash left his car overturned.

Southend Road was opened around 11.00am after the vehicle was removed near Roding Lane North and Roding Lane South.

An ambulance was called to Southend Road in South Woodford at around 9.25am.

A man in his 30s was taken to Whipps Cross Hospital for treatment for a shoulder injury.
