A Chigwell pensioner accused of a historic sexual assault has been bailed.
Keith Turvey, 75, was remanded on unconditional bail in his absence to appear on March 30 at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court.
The pensioner is accused of one charge of sexually assaulting a boy between 1998 and 2001.
Mr Turvey, of Chigwell Row, has not yet entered a plea.
