12 year-old victim robbed by boys aged 11, 12 and 13 in Lloyd Park on Monday

Three boys have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a 12-year-old of his mobile phone.

Police were called to a playground area in Lloyd Park, Walthamstow, on Monday following reports of a robbery.

The male victim had been threatened by three robbers at just after 4:20pm and his phone was snatched.

At around 9pm, officers arrested the three suspects, aged 11, 12 and 13, who have all now been bailed until April.

The stolen mobile phone was later recovered.

There was also, reportedly, a mugging of a man in his 20s at the Brettenham Rd gates of Lloyd Park this week. Have called the safer neighbourhood team to request more patrols - no response - also contacted Chapel End Labour "action" team to request they also contact police, again no response and no surprise!
