A man who attempted to steal lead from the roof of a bank has been given a community order.
Liam Godwin-Jones, 26, of York Road in Ilford, was spotted member of the public on the roof of Lloyds TSB Bank in Cranbrook Road, Ilford, at 1am on March 3 and later arrested.
He admitted the offence and ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work.
