The sentencing of a man who killed a cyclist while drink-driving has been adjourned for the second time.

Kingsley Gordon-Allen, 20, of Ashville Road in Leytonstone, admitted knocking down 56-year-old Edward Orrey in Gainsborough Road, near Leytonstone Tube station, on February 9 last year.

The father-of-four, from Penzance, had been working on the 'Cheesegrater' building in Leadenhall Street when he was cycling back to his van in Leytonstone at around 6am.

On January 17, Gordon-Allen pleaded guilty to causing death by dangerous while unfit through alcohol at Wood Green Crown Court.

He was due to be sentenced at the same court on March 7 but this was extended to March 14 due to pre-sentencing reports not being ready.

A date of March 24 has now been set, although this has not been confirmed by the Crown Prosecution Service.
