Staff and pupils celebrated the heritage of their school as part of St Patrick's Day.
St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, in Longfield Avenue, Walthamstow, hosted a series of events today.
Pupils dressed in Shamrock green attended mass this morning, followed by singing, Irish dancing, and readings of poems.
Head teacher Ruslan Protsiv said: "We gathered today to celebrate the feast of our patron saint.
"Children in dazzling green colours prepared and presented a broad programme featuring poetry reading, singing and dancing to celebrate the great heritage of the first Irish immigrants to Walthamstow who, at the dawn of the last century, built our school and whose descendants still live locally and attend the school."
