Mahmoud Mahmoud, of Bushwood Road in Leytonstone, admitted stealing bangles worth £8,000

A man who admitted stealing jewellery worth £8,000 is due to appear in court later today.

Mahmoud Mahmoud, 23, of Bushwood Road in Leytonstone, stole four bangles between November 1 and January 14.

The items belonged to Amira Omar who lived at the same address as Mahmoud.

He pleaded guilty on February 26 and is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court tomorrow for sentencing.
