The accident happened in the George Green Tunnel in Wanstead
A man has been taken to hospital after an accident on the A12.
The crash happened just before 11am at George Green Tunnel in Wanstead.
A man in his 30s was taken for treatment at Whipps Cross Hospital in Leytonstone.
There are long tailbacks in both directions on the A406 North Circular.
Drivers are being advised to divert via Harrier Avenue and Cambridge Park.
