James O'Driscoll from Roydon has been charged with manslaughter of Prasanna Arulchelvam

A 45-year-old man has been charged with killing a young father in a supermarket car park.

James O’ Driscoll, of Hamlet Hill, Roydon, is accused of the manslaughter of 34-year-old Prasanna Arulchelvam.

Mr Arulchelvam, also known as Nick, died from injuries sustained at Costco, in Hartspring Lane, Bushey, on May 26.

The father-of-one, who lived in Watford, died from his injuries weeks later at St Mary’s Hospital, in west London.

Patrick O’Driscoll, 33, of Purkiss Road, Hertford, has been charged with murder.

A date for the trial is yet to be set.
