Two men have been arrested on suspicion of ciriminal damage, affay and assaulting a police officer and two members of the public.  

Police were called to Chingford Mount Road at just after 1am on Sunday following reports of a group of men fighting outside the King's Ford Pub.

Two men were allegedly seen swinging their belts at members of the public and causing damage to the front of the pub.

Police arrested a 22-year-old man from Chingford on suspicion of criminal damage, assaulting a police officer and affray.

A 20 year-old man from Enfield was also arrested at the scene on suspicion of assaulting two members of the public, criminal damage and affray.

Blood can be seen on the pavement outside the pub and on the opposite side of the road.

Both were taken to an east London police station and have been released on bail.

Police would like to hear from any witnesses to this incident who have not yet come forward.
