Children took part in a series of challenges to raise money for Sport Relief this week.

This week, youngsters at the Village Montessori Nursery in Theydon Bois have been climbing, carrying and crawling through tunnels in their bid to raise cash.

Around 30 children took part in the activities and hope to have raised around £200.

Manager Deborah Palmer who organises events for Comic Relief and Sports Relief each year said it was a great way to raise money.

She said: “They all really enjoyed it.

“They liked the obstacle course and we did a relay race this year. They were running all over the place.”

The nursery based in Theydon Bois Village Hall looks after children aged between two-and-a-half and four-and-a-half.
