More than 20 firefighters fought a blaze in Walthamstow last night which left a house damaged.

The terraced house, in Shernhall Street, suffered damage to both the first and second floor after a fire broke out shortly after 10pm.

No injuries were reported and the fire was under control shortly after 11pm.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
