An 18th century listed pub says it has created 20 new jobs after undergoing a £200,000 refurbishment.
The work at Crown and Crooked Billet in Cross Road, Woodford Green, started on March 17 and the pub will re-open to the public on Friday.
The refurbishment includes a new decor and furniture, along with decking and seating in the garden.
General manager Natalie Kensington said: “For quite a few it is their first job and we have a lot of new faces.
“We know it won’t disappoint and we can’t wait to show off the pub’s new stylish look to our customers.”
The pub is part of the Stonegate chain.
