A man has been fined for careless driving following a crash which caused widespread traffic disruption.
Police were called to Clarendon Road in Walthamstow following reports of a collision with a parked car at 9.30am yesterday.
Ambulance services attended the scene but there were no injuries.
A 21-year-old driver was handed a £100 on-the-spot fine and given three points on his licence for careless driving.
Police closed Clarendon Road and Hoe Street while vehicles involved were recovered from the scene.
Lea Bridge Road was partially blocked in both directions with traffic queuing back to Whipps Cross Hospital and Bakers Arms.
The roads were re-opened at around 11am.
