A health awareness information hub has been set up in Waltham Forest to give residents advice about high quality health and social care.

Healthwatch Waltham Forest, an independent advice service, is taking up residence in a pop-up shop in Hoe Street Central in Walthamstow from March 24 to April 2.

Throughout this week, staff have been holding drop in session, talks and debates about how to improve GP surgeries, sexual health awareness for young adults, obesity, tuberculosis in ethnic minorities and Whipps Cross Hospital.

A fun day is planned for tomorrow from 10am to 5pm whereby visitors can participate in Henna painting, face painting, smoothie making and photography with a chance of featuring in Healthwatch's adverts and leaflets.

If you are a resident of Waltham Forest and have any concerns regarding health care in the borough, you are encouraged to drop in.
