A trial date has been set for two men accused of attacking a McDonald’s customer who lost an eye due to his injuries.
Ashton King, 21, of Boundary Road in Walthamstow, Kingsley Gordon-Allen, 20, of Boundary Road, Leytonstone, and John Pluckrose, 19, of Randolph Close in Leigh-On-Sea, appeared at Wood Green Crown Court on Friday.
All three men are charged with wounding with intent.
King and Gordon-Allen are also charged with possession with intent to supply cannabis, with King facing a third charge of handling stolen goods.
The men are accused of attacking 51-year-old Collen Grant inside the Walthamstow branch of McDonald's in Hoe Street on January 1.
Mr Grant underwent emergency surgery at an east London hospital to have his left eye removed.
Pleas entered by King and Pluckrose were not accepted by the court and the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is yet to reveal further details.
They are due to stand trial on June 2 at Wood Green Crown Court.
Gordon-Allen is due to enter a plea for both charges at the same court on April 16.
