A driver has been cut from her car and taken to hospital after a crash on the M25 this morning.
A woman in her 30s was released by fire crews who took the roof off her grey Vauxhall Insignia after the collision with a red Nissan Micra shortly before 7.45am near Junction 27 in Theydon Garnon.
She was then taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow suffering from neck and back pain.
The female driver of the Micra in her 50s received minor injuries but was not hospitalised.
The highways agency also attended to clear oil from the motorway as a result of the accident and all lanes were reopened by 11am.
