Concerns are still being raised over the safety of Tube users following the street light switch off in Epping Forest.
Despite a move to put back the switch–off time in Epping Forest by an hour to 1am for late-night travellers using the network, councillors in Loughton are calling for a further 15-minute delay.
This is because the last train passes through stations in Epping Forest at just after 1am.
The Town Council has agreed to write to Essex County councillor Rodney Bass, who is the architect of the policy aimed at saving money and helping the environment.
It follows a recommendation by the Environment and Heritage Committee on March 26.
