Further details have emerged of the theft of a car by a man posing as a buyer.

A black Volkswagen Golf R32, registration GX06ONG, was stolen yesterday after the owner had advertised it in a national trading magazine.

A man posing as a potential customer stole the car from John Eliot Close, Nazeing, at around 2.20pm yesterday, after inspecting the vehicle.

The thief grabbed the keys before pushing the owner out of his way and driving off.

The suspect is in his mid to late 20s, had acne on his face and spoke with an eastern European accent.

East European? That's enough reason to turn a blind eye to this incident.
