A social enterprise which repairs and refurbishes a range of household items is to mark its first year of business.

Not-for-profit Epping Forest ReUse Centre in Bower Hill Industrial Estate is opening its doors to visitors between 10.30am and 12.30pm on Saturday for a tour of the warehouse.

They will also be able to buy a variety of items, including furniture and electrical goods, at reasonable prices.

Scheme manager David Lawrence said: “Our first year has been very successful, much better than expected.

“We are now working up to five days a week when we had only planned to be working three. We are expecting around 100 people to join us in this celebration."
