A man accused of snatching four purses will go on trial later this month.

Cristian Ioan Mursen, 36, of Capworth Street in Leyton was bailed ahead of appearing at Snaresbrook Crown Court on April 16.

He appeared at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and denied all charges.

He is accused of targeting four women and stealing property valued at £1,120, including a Louis Vuittion bag worth £650.

It is also alleged he stole an iPhone 4 from Syed Shah valued at £400.

The incidents are said to have occurred between January 19 and April 24 last year.
