An artist who describes Walthamstow as “the promised land” is displaying numerous works made in honour of 1990s boy band East 17.
Nicky Carvell’s Peace from East 17 exhibition opened on Friday in the council’s pop up shop in Walthamstow, where she is putting on show a collection of her bright pop art honouring the Walthamstow group.
The exhibition runs until April 15 and is open from midday until 6pm at 137 Hoe Street, Walthamstow.
