A man charged with five counts of assaulting women was banned from Walthamstow until his next court appearance.

Patrick Galvin, 36, whose address is listed by the court as Clacton Road in Walthamstow, allegedly assaulted a woman by beating her four times between July 20 and November 2 last year.

He is also alleged to have assaulted another woman on October 5.

Appearing yesterday at Stratford Magistrates’ Court, Galvin was bailed and ordered to stay out ofg the E17 postcose area and not to contact Susanne Baker before his next court appearance on June 30.

He denies all the charges.
