Jill Hope, Secretary for The Ongar Club for the Handicapped, explains how the disabled and those with pushchairs often find their pavement obstructed by vehicles in Ongar.
They are forced to resort to dangerous detours, going into the road around parked vehicles. Even pedestrians can have difficulty squeezing past cars that take up most of the path. She asks for motorists to be more considerate.
