A pair of brothers wanted by police have been arrested.
Daniel Witham, 26, from Gravesend, was arrested in Loughton and charged with attempted theft after copper piping was stripped off a property in Rectory Lane this morning.
He was also charged with the theft of a mobile phone in Chigwell in March.
He is now in custody and will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
His older brother Michael Witham, 28, was arrested on Monday evening at his Chigwell home on suspicion of theft.
He was later released on bail until May 19 pending further enquiries.
