A woman was taken to hospital following a motorway collision involving a lorry and car this morning.

The woman, in her 40s, was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Harlow with minor injuries after an accident on the A406 southbound, between the M11 and A12 in South Woodford.

The London Ambulance Service was called to the scene just after 8am.

One of the lanes was closed on the sliproad to the A12, but it since been opened again at around 10am.
