A third man was yesterday charged with murdering Aaron Carriere and Josiah Manful, who were stabbed to death in Leytonstone last month.
Wail-Suleiman Alawi, 23, was arrested on Wednesday and will appear later today at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
Police say he is from east London, but refused to give further details.
Two other men, Casey Jones, 18, of Walthamstow, and Devonte Campbell, 19, of no fixed address, have also been charged with the murders of Mr Carriere, 21, and Mr Manful, 20.
They have been remanded in custody and will appear at the Old Bailey on May 28.
Mr Carriere and Mr Manful were attacked as they sat in a car in Montague Road, Leytonstone, on March 1.
They were pronounced dead at the scene.
In total 18 arrests have been made in connection with the murders.
15 suspects are bailed until later this month, including one 46-year-old woman accused of assisting an offender.
